Learning Spanish CD
One of the best ways to learn Spanish is with audio lessons. There are several learning Spanish cd packages out there today. Some are better than others.
I remember taking Spanish in high school and being bored out of my mind. We would learn nouns and verbs, then memorize, memorize, memorize. It was no fun and I didn’t learn anything.
Today with software and audio cd’s Spanish learning can be much more conversationally based. Personally, I find this method to be much easier and more enjoyable.
Learning Spanish CD’s (or mp3’s) are great because of their portability. If you don’t have much time to study, take your cd or mp3 player with you in the car, while exercising, or anytime you have a moment. You will find that even spending a little time here and there will help you learn quite quickly.
Depending on which program you buy, it may include more than just audio. Many courses have printable information, games, and interactive elements. While these aspects of your program may not be as portable, they are invaluable for filling in the holes.
Typically you might expect to spend hundreds of dollars on a good Spanish language program. This simply is no longer necessary. While these high priced courses are valuable learning tools there are many cheaper options that work just as well.
Rocket Spanish and Learning Spanish like Crazy are two well known and respected courses. Both are downloadable as well as coming in a cd premium version. Both of these audio courses are reasonably priced and offer great value.
Learning Spanish Like Crazy is strictly an audio course while Rocket Spanish includes games, flashcards, and written material. Both courses receive top marks and are great if you want to learn conversational Spanish quickly.
Rocket Spanish delves a bit deeper into the language with its various components. It even touches on some of the culture, which I think is fun.
Remember, the best way to learn anything is to enjoy doing it. If you are not having fun it just becomes another chore to be put off. Since sticking with it is one of the best things you can do to accomplish any goal, I recommend using a program that you will enjoy.
